At the Bidadi property, The Gari Resort offers various facilities for a day outing with a mix of both vivacious and adventure activities along with a lip smacking food menu. The resort offers facilities like Pool Access, Rain Dance, Human Foosball, Tug-of-War, Cricket, Badminton, Football, Volleyball, Horse Riding, Carom, Table Tennis, and Snooker. There are 14 adventure courses that will be part of the day outing package which includes 6 Low Rope Activities, 7 High Rope Activities, Zipline, Archery and ATV Bikes.

For day outing packages that are going to extend after 6 PM, the resort offers flood light games as well on additional cost for Cricket, Volleyball, Indoor and Outdoor Badminton along with a complimentary Bon Fire. Guests can also avail additional facilities like Magic Show, Mind Reading and Pottery, however these facilities are subject to availability.

Day Outing Packages at the Gari Resort differ with each package as the activities and facilities also varies with the same. Kids are charged at roughly half the adult rate, which keeps a family day outing economical. The following are the currently available discounted pricing details according to the packages:

The Gari Resorts operates three properties around Bangalore — Bidadi, Kanakapura Road and Doddaballapura (Gari in the Hills). The Bidadi property sits on the outskirts of Bangalore, very close to Bidadi town, at the postal address below. 5. Do you have activities for Kids?

Yes, the kids can access certain activities that are made exclusively available for them. The resort has a very hygienic kid’s pool, a dedicated kids play area, outdoor activities, indoor games and low rope activities. Also with the consent from the respective parents, the kids can avail facilities like Horse Riding and Zipline.

6. Which Gari property should I pick for a day outing?

All three properties run the same package structure, so the choice usually comes down to direction of travel. Bidadi has the largest activity set, including the fourteen-activity adventure course and horse riding. Kanakapura Road offers Blue packages covering pool access, archery, rain dance and indoor and outdoor games, and Green packages which add High Rope and Low Rope adventure activities. Doddaballapura, known as Gari in the Hills, includes High Rope adventure activity in every package. Starting rates differ by property — see the package section above.

7. What is the food menu?

The Gari Resort offers a right blend of both veg and non veg buffet food with a wide variety of delicious cuisine.

• Breakfast: Idly & Vada, Poori & Sagu or Set Dosa, Sambar & Chutney, Kesari Bath, Lemon Rice, Boiled Egg, Cut Fruits, Coffee & Tea.
• Lunch: Veg Soup, Salad, Chapathi (or similar Indian bread), Veg Dry ,Veg Curry, Veg Biryani, Chicken Biryani, Non Veg Dry, Non Veg Curry, White Rice, Rasam, Papad, Curd, Sweet, and Ice Cream.

9. Is the resort pet friendly? Can I bring my pet along for the day outing?

Yes, the Gari Resort is very much pet friendly and we welcome your pets with as much as warmth as we welcome you. However, the resort will not provide any food for the pets and this needs to be taken care by the pet owners. Also, the pets are not allowed in the dining area and swimming pool due to hygiene conditions.

10. What should I carry while coming for a day outing at The Gari Resort?

The Gari Resort provides all the necessary sports equipment’s and materials when it comes to activities. The day outing guests have to ensure to carry valid ID Proofs, Towels, Nylon Cloths (mandatory for swimming pool access), Pets Food (if carrying pets), Comfortable Footwear and Gears to perform the activities.

11. What is included in the day outing package?

Every Bidadi day outing package includes a Welcome Drink (non-alcoholic), 6 Low Rope Activities, 7 High Rope Activities or Zipline, Archery, Pool Access, Rain dance, Indoor & Outdoor Games, use of the standard facilities of the resort, and Horse Riding between 4 PM and 6 PM. Packages differ only in meals and duration:

• The Gari Resort Day Package – 9 AM to 6 PM – Breakfast, Lunch & High Tea
• The Golden Gari Lunch Package – 11 AM to 6 PM – Lunch & High Tea
• The Gari Resort Dusk Package – 4 PM to 10 PM – High Tea & Dinner
• The Gari Resort Noon to Night Package – 11 AM to 10 PM – Lunch, High Tea & Dinner
• Full Gari Package – 9 AM to 10 PM – Breakfast, Lunch, High Tea & Dinner

Campfire is complimentary with the Dusk, Noon to Night and Full Gari packages. Magic Show & Mind Reading are slot based on Fridays & Saturdays.

• Pottery: chargeable slot based event only on Fridays & Saturdays
• Flood Light Games: Rs. 699/- per hour for Cricket, volleyball, & indoor & outdoor badminton between 7 PM and 10.30 PM, Friday to Sunday. Complimentary Monday to Thursday.

12. Are there any extra charges part from day outing package charges?

The package price that is paid takes care of all the package inclusions mentioned in the itinerary. However, if the guests wants to buy the nylon cloths and towels from the resort, the charges will be additional for the same. Also the chargeable activity costs should be paid additionally as this will not be covered under package inclusions.
